Team Leader – Travel Consultant – Geneva, Switzerland

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a passionate Team Leader – Travel Consultant to join our team. The position will be based onsite at Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) in Geneva.

This role exists to:

  • Lead a team of four Travel Consultants.
  • Coordinate activities with on-site Visa Unit and ensure high level of service and quality.
  • Liaise with client on regular basis and ensure customer service is paramount always.
  • Actively lead, coach, and develop team members; conduct regular staff reviews
  • Deal with day-to-day management issues, e.g. planning, customer feedback, process improvements, etc.

We value these skills in you:

  • Excellent proficiency using Amadeus GDS system, minimum of 3 years recent experience.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience in international and domestic travel consultancy.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of international fares, ticketing, and geography.
  • Go beyond expectations and identify and anticipate customer needs.
  • Confident and respectful team player with commercial attitude and flexibility.
  • Creative and analytical problem solver, ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with inward drive for excellence.
  • Supervisory experience and ability to identify training & professional development needs within the team.
  • Superior written & verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French.
