Rotary International aligns with Raptim Humanitarian Travel

Raptim is now the Official Travel Management Company of Rotary

Raptim Humanitarian Travel and Rotary International announced Raptim as the official travel management company of Rotary – a global network of volunteers committed to improving lives and bringing positive, lasting change to communities around the world. The direct connection between Raptim and Rotary allows the strengths of these organizations to work together and provide more services and support to humanitarians traveling to where they are needed most.

We are honored to collaborate with such a prestigious organization as Rotary International. This relationship has grown from our shared belief that the world can be a better place if we combine forces. Rotary endeavors to create lasting change in communities around the world and Raptim gets Rotary’s people where they are needed most.” said Raptim’s Managing Director, Bart Kruijsen.

The alliance signals the increasing importance of travel consolidation and management in an ever-changing global environment. Consolidating travel spend and direct sourcing to one approved travel management company standardizes corporate travel policies and provides savings by aligning processes and maximizing vendor leverage. It also supports Rotary’s duty of care responsibilities.

Rotary connects 1.2 million members of more than 35,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas. Their work improves lives at both the local and international levels, from helping families in need in their own communities to working toward a polio-free world. Approximately 6,000 Rotary members travel annually.

Several years ago, Rotary joined the FORE association of travel managers from humanitarian foundations, NGO’s and other service organizations, which underscored the unique challenges we face in running global travel programs. In selecting Raptim, we found an agency that shared our DNA and understood how best to meet the needs for our volunteers and staff,” said Robert Mintz, global travel manager of Rotary International.
