Concepts and creates marketing materials, manages projects, and ensures messages are consistent. Supports development and implementation of Raptim’s internal and external communications strategies.Working in close collaboration with Global Communication Manager and Communications Coordinator Europa & Africa, Global and Local sales teams and external stakeholders Key responsibilitiesActively and creatively contributes to development and execution of internal and external marketing strategiesBuild brand awareness within our niche and the travel industry as a wholeManage website to be better and more measurably impactful, up-to-date and frequented communications tool; oversee the sites’ content-management systems and analytics.Create content for communications tools and platforms including newsletters, collateral and social mediaDevelop, maintain and expand internal and external networks to support Global Communications’ work and impact.Prepare and manage multiple marketing calendarsDevelop, coordinate and deliver marketing (communication) campaignsSupport social media efforts, including developing and posting content, monitoring social activity, and managing metricsServe as a reporter and writer who keeps abreast of Raptim’s and the broader field’s news & trends and strategically propose and develop text-based and visual content (articles to blog and social media posts to video storyboards and other reports)Develop liaisons with media representatives and journalistsHandle enquiries from journalists and other media contacts and preparing, writing and distributing press releases and newsArrange, organize, and market events, interviews and press conferences.Monitor and track media coverage of the organization Scope and influencePerforms activities that contribute to the achievement of communication goals and objectivesManages own work volume and prioritiesManages relationships with vendors, partners and mediaIndependently resolves issues to achieve goalsWorks across teams and departments (travelling part of the job)QualificationsGood balance of self-assurance and the ability to listen well with a sense of humorCommitment to Raptim’s mission and core values2 – 3 years of experience in similar roleCulturally sensitive and global outlookExcellent communication skills, both written and oral (English)Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to manage multiple deadlinesPublic relations and media experienceInterest and professional experience with social media platforms.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English, Journalism, Communications, Business, or equivalent experienceCareful tactician, with a keen eye for accuracy, context and detailCreative in suggesting (innovative) visualization and delivery of contentInterest and ability to keep abreast of activities in the broader and global field of humanitarian work.Previous experience in travel or NGO/humanitarian business is a plusInterested?
