IT Infrastructure Manager – Grapevine, TX [Closed]

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team! You will design and develop solutions to complex application problems or network concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises department personnel including: hiring, monitoring workload, delegating assignments, training, evaluating performance, and/or initiating corrective or disciplinary actions as required.
  • Develops and coordinates plans and policies, technical resources, and manages the technical blueprint for the organization; prepares and updates plans and priorities based on the needs and direction of the organization.
  • Ensures hardware/software meets the needs of the North American and Global organization and provides a productive and reliable means to manage information.
  • Plans and manages projects and/or programs. Writes (or discusses) project/program plan(s), recommendation(s) and/or finding(s).
  • Coordinates projects and ensures adequate administrative controls over: costs, quality, deadlines, and accountability/procedural efficiencies.
  • Provides consultation, makes recommendations, gives appropriate advice, and/or facilitates decisions.
  • Analyzes, summarizes and/or reviews data; reports findings, interprets results and/or makes recommendations.
  • Anticipates the impact that new or modified software/hardware solutions will have on existing standards, systems and infrastructure.
  • Coordinates and/or acts as a liaison between departments, work units, organizations, etc.
  • Participates in conferences on technical innovations and technologies; reviews literature pertinent to objectives, design, and project implementation.
  • Manages relationships with key vendors
  • Gathers data, prepares reports or summarizes information as required
  • Approves IT related expenses for payment
  • Develops and manages to annual budget

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good working knowledge of industry standard infrastructure trends and best practices
  • Experience and proficiency with regionally/globally diverse computer networks.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills including attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and project management experience.
  • Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of non-technical internal clients.
  • Ability to create and write clear, concise, documentation and system procedures.
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Effectively manage multiple and changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a tea
  • Good working knowledge of VMware and HyperV.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in computer engineering, architecture, or other related fields
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience required
