The first and most common one is to boost your company’s current performance—to help you hold onto a premium position on one hand, or to cut costs on the other. The second reason to acquire a company is to reinvent your business model to fundamentally redirect your company. We at Raptim Humanitarian Travel really believe that, although you need some economies of scale, it’s a necessity to put the clients’ interests first. And although there is a largescale consolidation going on in the travel industry at large, we remain confident in the continuing need for specialized travel management companies such as ourselves. The Special Needs of HumanitariansTo be able to serve people who serve the world, we have developed first-class services for humanitarians such as:An always-on travel service: Our staff provides around-the-clock access to all our clients. Special travel needs are our core business. We are able to expertly address these through the partnerships we have created with organizations that have a shared vision to make the world a better place. This is what drives us. To make this happen, we build global and local humanitarian travel communities of like-minded people and partnerships. With those partnerships, we make an impact and help make the world a better place. Of course, we need resources to invest to achieve those goals, but first and foremost we are driven by our passion and our beliefs: to help to make a difference, not just to make a profit. Find out more about our international partnerships.Helping Humanitarians is More Important than ProfitCompassion: it is one word that describes all humanitarian workers. Wikipedia defines compassion as the response to the suffering of others that motivates a desire to help. From the moment Raptim was founded in 1949, our work has continually been based on the principle of compassion. As we grow, this value remains at the very core of our travel company.A Not-for-the-Profit Travel CompanyRaptim is not in it for the profit. That’s why we are fond of calling ourselves a “not-for-the-profit travel company.” Like nearly every other humanitarian organization, helping people is our top priority. It is our way of life. We do this by keeping a high standard. Customer service is not just a department in our company; it is at the very core of our efforts to help vulnerable and affected people. It is a mentality, a natural part of who we are and what we love doing. The ability to meet, and hopefully exceed, the needs of our clients fuels our passion. We always keep the complete picture in mind as we make travel arrangements to those uncommon destinations with which we are well versed.Humanitarian assistance simply refers to the aid and action designed to save lives. Through it, suffering is alleviated and human dignity is protected and maintained. This often takes the course during and in the aftermath of man-made crises or natural disasters. We’re very proud to contribute to such compassionate goals by serving humanitarians, faith-based group travelers, volunteers, and aid workers who are helping those who need it most.Contact Us NowOur staff is dedicated and focused on the complex, and at times very urgent, travel needs of humanitarians and their NGO travel managers.
