Rotary International is based on 1.2 million people creating a positive and lasting change in communities around the world. Rotaries Mission: End Polio Rotary Clubs around the world have been a standard-bearer of this mission for more than one hundred years. Throughout this time business leaders and politicians have been networking while raising funds. In the last twenty years, its focus has been to end Polio. Every member of their community is working tirelessly within that community to solve this challenge. Therefore, Rotary International is most known as the organization working tremendously hard to free the world of Polio. On six continents of the world, Rotarians work locally to carry forward Rotary’s mission to stop this horrible disease.
