4 International Mission Projects

One of the beautiful aspects of Christianity is the gift to help others through the word of God. Volunteering, then, is an essential part of giving to the community and to those most in need. As such, faith-based organizations often find ways to help others through their faith. By volunteering, you can be part of this community of positive changes. Today, let’s take a look at some examples of the amazing work that faith-based projects do around the world.

4 International Mission Projects

There are thousands of mission projects that provide for those who are in need. It is part of God’s mission for Christians and an essential part of the faith. Here are four examples of the amazing work that these organizations perform with the help of volunteers.

1. Mission Projects International

Mission Projects International spreads the word of God around the world. The organization works tirelessly around the globe to deliver sermons and the gospel. The organization’s volunteers build churches and community spaces in the most hard-to-reach places. For example, one important project is taking place in Ethiopia, sharing Christianity with local communities.

2. Global Outreach International

A nondenominational organization, Global Outreach International sets up missions around the world. It provides training to missionaries. They then spread the word of God in remote places of our planet. Projects go beyond preaching. For example, in Zambia, Global Outreach International has helped to equip local churches with religious materials in local languages. They have also built a school and provide education for children from poor families.

3. Samaritan’s Purse

Working in the name of Jesus, Samaritan’s Purse reaches those in need around the world. Their projects deliver aid, food, medical services, and other assistance in times of crisis. For example, their World Medical Mission creates placements for medical volunteers to provide assistance in mission hospitals and clinics.

Global Ministries

Through God’s will, Global Ministries work towards justice, reconciliation, and peace around the world. The organization sends missionaries and volunteers to projects on all continents. Their programs range from Bible study to educational resources and WASH projects. For instance, in Kenya, Global Ministries runs the OAIC Tree for Life Project, which focuses on providing local churches with a space to share ideas and practices.

We Believe in Your Mission

Raptim was first founded in 1947. Our history starts with faith-based missionary travel. The very first flight that our founder organized was sent to retrieve missionaries stranded in Africa. They were aiding the local population, who were affected by the devastating World War. Since then, we have been a close ally for missionaries and faith-based organizations. We understand our missionary travel clients and believe in your mission.
